Description of the Youth in Service Scholarship Award-The FHYF staff is committed and dedicated to seeing that all of our youth continue to grow spiritually, intellectually and socially. To that end, we have created the Youth in Service scholarship, a privately funded award to help defray some of the costs associated with going to college for youth who have helped advance the mission of the SDA church, helped spread the gospel to those in their generation, advanced the mission of the FHYF and excelling intellectually in their own lives. This year, we will award two (2) scholarships, each for $500 to help pay for the cost of books or any other materials to help in attending and succeeding in school.

If you have any questions, email info@fhyf.org

Disclaimer-Submitting an application is not a guarantee of an award. The Franco-Haitian Youth Federation selection committee will review all applications and make a decision based on the merits or each application. We reserve the right to not consider any late or incomplete applications. The Federation selection committee also reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to award one scholarship depending on the strength of the applications.

Who plans to be with Jesus when he returns, where we will join him dressed in a crispy clean white garment? I know I do. Many of us do, but we first have to be willing to surrender. Christ is constantly fighting on our behalf for us to choose him over sin. Will you trust him to help you overcome your temptations? Join us at Friends of Jesus for a White Sabbath! As a preview for what we will wear in heaven, we encourage our guest to wear white or all white. Lunch will be served, followed by AY at 3:30pm. The Youth Department looks forward to seeing you all there!
